The Youth Reach Project is an integral part of Shankill Parish Caring Association based in The Jethro Centre, Lurgan. The project focuses on equipping young people from the age of 15 -18 with the skills and knowledge to educate other young people on how to deal with differences and manage conflict.

Our aim is to work with 50 young people per year to:
Reduce community tension
Promote community capacity
Help understand identity and cultural background
Look at Lurgan’s contentious issues
Equip young people with the skills and knowledge to deal with contentious issues
Engage in a process of peace building

We will do this through:
Summer programmes
OCN Accredited Training
Workshops
Residentials
Group work
Team Building
